He (Mike) probably got the original contract for the government cotton mask, those were nice, they gave census workers as many as they liked. I ended up getting quite a few packages though I kept to wearing my n95 mask. I was probably known as the odd ball census worker in the neighborhood, though those who already knew me knew that wasn't unusual. (lol) My untraditional mannerism earned me a title of being the optimizer though, that mask with a pair of reader glasses plopped atop swinging my id badge while proclaiming I didn't need any personal information worked wonders getting people in the hood to open up and talk to you. Pulling out a bunch of papers and reading from a script just wasn't hitting it, sometimes you just have to get creative to bust the hardest cases. Now the government hand sanitizer I had some great fun with but it didn't come via me using it personally (except in one emergency case where a college house was under quarantine for covid and failed to mention it to me, it wasn't until the parents showed up to drop off groceries did I find out, I spent the rest of the day smelling like lysol that I sprayed myself down with and that nasty hand sanitizer) I swear they deliberately made that smell like deer camp and moose farts combined so nobody would be requesting "extras" of that stuff. But it worked wonders offering it up to those getting on your nerves, here try some of this government hand sanitizer, lmao, give 'em a big gob right in the palm of their hands, then afterward tell them they so deserved that. lol. Lots of fun with that shit.
