For the last few days I have been looking for an article I read awhile back that put emphasis on that when it comes to green energy that people don't equate that increased demand on the electrical grid means that grid expands, as such there are parts of that grid that are made out of petroleum products, those parts have to be replaced as they wear out. This means there would be increased demand for those parts, which means increasing the global footprint to make them. I cannot find that article but it had a picture of a rubbery looking giant gasket type object, would you happen to know the name of such an item? I've found lots of other intriguing articles, like how electric cars would increase strip mining, how if not driven exactly as demonstrated or instructed deceases their efficiency but no where have I again found the article on the giant grommet looking thing. It's just with the shut down of the pipeline energy efficiency has become a hot topic debate out on the forums again.
