I was over my grand kids the other day, I took some arts and crafts stuff over there this year and they made their "annual" Christmas wreaths. I decided to carry a bunch of stuff over there so I could show their mom what we do so if something happens to me she can carry on doing the traditional arts and crafts with the kids. She's never used a glue gun before. The boys used double wreaths this year as I had extra's from last year so we doubled them up to make them look fuller. Everything you see there though I only paid pennies for. The wreaths were fifty cents at the dollar store, stuff like the snowman you see I paid fifty cents a piece for, the rest basically came in packages I either paid fifty cents or less for depending upon on how long after Christmas I found them and the amount they were reduced to. Like last year I got multiple packages of the plastic Christmas ornament bulbs for twenty five cents a tube at Dollar General. I bought a lot of them because I seen a video where Martha Stewart made a beautiful Christmas tree picture, sort of a three dimensional effect like tree. I didn't get a chance to do that one this year because it's going to be quite a massive project involving composite board, trim for the picture, and fabric. I still may do it after the kids are done for school for xmas break and they've all been home for a few days without any signs of illness, then they can all come over together. Right now we just sort of all interact with each other separately because so many are going to different places during the week.
