She had some interesting hacks but she forgot the best one of all, you go to the dollar store the day after Christmas and you buy your stuff for next years arts and crafts at fifty percent off. I have boxes of stuff in attic at the ready for next years crafts with the grandkids. I also do Dollar General and Family Dollar, usually a week after Christmas, they tend to do seventy five percent off first then work their way down. They usually have smaller, fuller looking miniature trees that look rather nice. You can get real creative with them plus you can remove the decorations and save them for next year.
