Your scenario has one option I laid out in a comment a few weeks ago on a blog. This shit is so ridiculous that chances they are in cahoots with each other has to have some tier of viability to it. With that said and what keeps that from coming to fruition or in other words causing confusion to one trying to calculate what's going on Trump enters right stage and pulls a Teflon Don. You simply can't underestimate anything at this point. I wondered about why he choose now to fire the defense secretary myself and be on the verge of firing more. At this point I can't rule out that he knows how they are playing the game, that is if he really is true to his base, and the only avenue into the algorithms of the voting systems is through the defense/intelligence apparatus. If you wanted to catch them in their tracks you wouldn't fire them beforehand you'd fire them immediately afterwards. So it's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
