I think ultimately if it comes to it the SC will come down and rule that any ballots not in processing centers by 8 pm on election should get tossed. It's the only fair and equitable way to solve this, if voters had to be at the polls by 8 pm then so should have mail in ballots. One shouldn't have an advantage over the other.
