You know that's something that has left me wondering, not that he wasn't alive when I left because he was on the ground responding to first responders. Where I was headed was about I'd say less than a couple blocks away. I had been standing there talking with a woman out on a sidewalk when we heard a horrifying scream from some lady. Minutes later the firetrucks and an ambulance went headed back toward the direction I had come from. The way that woman screamed I couldn't help but wonder if they'd left that guy and he went about hanging himself and she came across him. I guess I'll never know. I'd sure hope they wouldn't leave someone who'd just tried to kill themselves. As far as the covid is concerned it is well known around here that it has hit the homeless community hard so getting up close and personal with them probably isn't a wise decision. The object was to find a way to keep him from hanging himself and that objective was met with the least amount of exposure to being right in his face. This has been a bad year for me, getting sick would just triple the already double financial losses I've taken this year....I don't think it'd put me under still financially as I've made some moves to advert the financially losses, it'd just add more time to a full financial recovery. I am just now getting around to finally doing something with next door and I am hoping to have it rented back out by Dec first though I am still leery of these no eviction mandates, I am going to have to be extremely cautious considering renting it back out during this crisis.
