I know what you mean, every morning I get up to find some critter picked a tomato, ate a portion of it and leaves the rest on my back porch. He/she now picks the ripe the tomatoes. I really didn't think it was a squirrel out of all the critters back there but I thought I'd out slick them by picking the riper one's and setting them on the ledge on the front porch. That lasted about four days, when I got up this morning they picked the biggest one and took several bites out of it....and only a squirrel could have gotten up there.
