I think the weirdest one for me was a guy on another blog site who was there for years. I always respected the things he had to say and upvoted him all the time. He often spoke of being in ill health from diabetes sometimes disappearing for a couple weeks but he'd always manage to resurface. Over years of blogging you develop a good rapport with some individuals....they/you know that basically during a good debate you have each others backs....lol....well one day he just disappeared, he was gone for months...I actually thought he had died, I mean really when you blog with someone for years and they disappear without a word for months on end it really does get you wondering if they did die especially if they are ill. Then going over my list of followers I happen to click on his name to see if he had made any recent comments...and there was one comment about, if I remember right, dolphins on some nature conservancy blog. I left a comment I was glad to see he was okay, I was worried about you, (not knowing if it was okay to leave off topic comments) I listed an email for him to send me a quick note. (I only left it there for a couple days though). I checked a few times but he never responded. I'd go back and look a few times on that site and he made a few more comments all nature related..which was bizarre since his thing was political blogging. I left a couple more comments but he never responded back. I often wondered if someone hacked his account....it's just so bizarre to read comments on nature from someone who for years never seemed to indicate he was so into nature and the fact he wouldn't respond back to someone who was an avid political back up blogger to things he blogged about was just as bewildering....you'd at least think he'd say Hi, I am okay just lost interest in politics or something like that. lol.
