I've bought one new car in my life after spending most of my life driving old cars. The salesmen told me it had air conditioning and to me it felt like it because it was pumping out the air compared to what I had been use to driving. I got over to pick up my kids from the babysitters after I finalized all the paperwork and her husband came out to look at my car. He said this car doesn't have air conditioning, lol, though it wasn't funny at the time. I called the guy back the next day and he said to give him a couple days to talk to his manager and he'd see what could be done. I called him back a couple days later and he said his manager said there was nothing they could do about it. I called the state and asked them if they could do that and they asked me how many days had gone by since I signed the contract. I told them I bought it four days ago, they said I had three days to return it, outside of that there was nothing else I could do. I guess you have three days excluding weekends to dissolve a signed contract and apparently this guy was well aware of it. My babysitters husband told me I should have never bought a new car anyway as they lose most their value the minute you drive them off the lot. After that I took him with me anytime I was going to buy a car, he steered me towards cars that had low mileage but cost half the price of new ones.
