If you read bio information on her you'd see that she's been a republican, rather strong republican for the majority of her adult life. Her ambition(s) appears to be she'd wanted a position with prime time news. When prospects looked dismal after a three year stint producing the Mike Huckabee show she decided to go to law school. When the opportunity presented itself to finally get her foot in the door for some exposure on main stream news she jumped at the opportunity even though it appears it wasn't a natural fit with her political alignment. So do I think she'd sit up there and read whatever was written on a telepromoter for some national exposure to advance her career? Yes. People do way worse than that to climb to the top...if you get my drift.
