I don't think it bothers me in respects to I am bit of a loner myself so the social impact isn't quite the same except when it comes to my grand kids as they were the biggest social aspect in my life. Now to see the one's on the other side of town I have to restrict myself to the house for a few days before going to see them as one grandson was born with respiratory problems that kept him in the hospital for weeks and for the first couple years of his life he was in and out of the hospital for weeks at a time until he stabilized enough on his own to go to home nebulizers, he still struggles a couple times during the year at certain periods whereas he has to go in for a more intense treatment, we just have to be more cautious when it comes to him right now. My other son lives next to me and I see my grandson when he's out in the yard but we try and distance as best we can because my son was still working as an essential employee, they made steel frames for doors for the government and medical facilities. Then there was some dispute over wearing a mask as he has asthma and he couldn't breath so they gave him a shield, his boss though just kept picking about the situation and let him go. I told him to file for unemployment as that is discriminatory under new rules right now but he's been out making money everyday hauling stuff for people to the dump because the city refuses to pickup personal bulk items right now. That's why the other grand kids can't come over right now as they are out among the public interacting a lot more so they opt to keep the kids at home, my other son isn't working because of the situation with jobs right now but it's not as hard on them as his girlfriend is still getting her twice monthly checks from the Indian casino revenue even though they are closed. They are one of the bigger casino operations in the state so she gets adequate money to live on. There's not much difference outside all that and wearing a mask for me when I go out to the stores. Ironically for me environmental wise it's been a bonus like I said. I can hardly complain that the city doesn't sound like everyone's lost their mind with police,fire and ambulances going out on calls multiple times a day. I sit across from a park and there's a nearby highway a couple blocks over so everything sort of echoes, sometimes I can hear things from miles away. Like I said it's like going back in time when the population was less and there wasn't so much violence. Back in my twenties I lived on a hill called look out park, we use to go sit on the hill and look out over the city at night, it really didn't look like much of a city back then, barely lit up, mostly dark. You go up there now and it's quite different, it's nothing but a vast array of lights everywhere. I guess I am content to cherish this temporary pause of human activity, there's some inconveniences but the peaceful serenity is quite nice.
