Everyone seems to be pounding on that right now while failing to realize that it was the evasive actions countries took to stop/slowed the carnage. We already know by the number of urns passed out in Wuhan that the death toll was closer to fifty thousand. If they hadn't gone on lock down think of what that death toll would have looked like. Then take that number and multiply it over an entire flu season and not just an eight week period. Same with the forty thousand deaths here, if this virus had started at the beginning of the traditional flu season and ran it's course through April, May the deaths would have been in the hundreds of thousands given how many people it killed while taking evasive actions because those evasive actions wouldn't have been in place.
