Thanks for the burlap and chicken wire idea. I've been thinking about building a tiered down front from a four foot high retainer type wall that I could plant vegetables in but kept wondering how to do it planter style that allowed for drainage at the bottom. That way you wouldn't lose any of your crop due to to dry or wet of a season.
