You certainly don't get disencouraged when talking about Obama and Bush's so called "flaunting" of the powers. You mention them then fling your arms around excusing it away as we've already talked about it so it's all good. No it's not as you seem to imply those two are in their own separate little box compared to Trump and we all know Trump's came no where near close to the devastation created by Obama's administration in Libya and Bush's administration in Iraq. When it comes to Bush the world to this very day is reeling from the damages he's inflicted upon it. It's actually even why we are still in Iraq. Obama's policies are what has led to this current confrontation, appeasing a ruthless regime only emboldened them and encouraged them to view the west as weak. It's like handing the school bully your lunch knowing full well he's still going to kick your butt on the way home. Their is a unique difference when it comes to Trump compared to Bush and Obama, he wasn't afraid to come right out and lay it on the line to Americans, he didn't lie, this man's atrocities were well known throughout the world.

This/these resolutions will go nowhere, are just another example of the democrats wasting their time working on useless legislation they know don't stand a chance. Furthermore it only serves to alienate Americans whose lost sons and daughters to this brutal general and his forty so terrorist minion groups. Let the democrats try and pass their resolution, they are only digging their grave deeper come election time. When you stand before the American public and try and excuse the loss of even one persons life as basically collateral damage to appease a ruthless criminal and the regime he works for then there just isn't going to be much apathy from a vast majority of Americans.
