Lol, yes I am going to be very, very busy like in a "all of a sudden"..because my grand babies (kids) are all sick so I can't get a jump start with them on some of this stuff. The same thing happened right before Thanksgiving, I held out to the last minute in hopes but ended up finding myself up marathon-ing it to get everything done. I was trying a new recipe called a pumpkin roll...I was so tired that I forgot to add flour to thicken the confectioners sugar to make a frosting, so when I went to roll it up it started to ooze out the sides. It never even dawned on me that I forgot to add the flour. I rolled it up, wrapped it tight and put it in the fridge then went upstairs and looked up the recipe to see if I had wrote it down right...the first ingredient: flour....then I was like, oh yeah I forgot to grab the flour off the shelf. lol. Anyway it came out good though, it didn't last long as everyone liked it, it was more like a pudding bread.
I am going to do a Strawberry Punch Bowl Cake thing...you bake a cake using two round pans. Once cooled you break up one cake and put it in the bottom of the punch bowl, then you put in a pkg. of (once frozen) strawberries, half a can crushed (drained) pineapple, top that with half of some vanilla pudding you make from a box of pudding, then top one half container whipped cream over that, then you repeat the process using the other cake and the rest of the ingredient, chill overnight in the fridge. I can hardly wait to try it.
