Personally in today's environment even if I was doing it for religious reasons (I am not religious) I wouldn't state such, just to much conflict involved. I admit though there are occasions where they may be forced to take a open public stance.

Any private company though should be allowed to make their own decisions for what they think is right for their company. If someone doesn't like it they can go elsewhere or try their own hand at starting a business.

We are such a diverse universe, we are all going to at one point in life or another face policies/procedures we don't like, life doesn't come with a one hundred percent guarantee of satisfaction, it's easier to walk around what you don't like to get to the stuff you do like. Once you know where you don't want to go it saves a lot of wasted time.
