Oh boy, this is going to be fun....
Trump and right wingers have been using the California wildfires to spread anti science non sense but also like the most toxic version of partisan politics that you could imagine when people's lives are at stake.
First, there's a lot here that is sick. Now of course you are a president and you tell a state - one of the states you are a president for - you tell a state that is suffering from horrible wild fires that you are cutting off aid..it's disgusting, people are dying, literally because of the fires.
Second Trump talking about water lanes from the north, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about, I mean truly no idea.
he's referring to these rules that don't let farmers drain "ALL" the water from river and you have to let some of the water to flow into the oceans naturally as the planet is supposed to work.
*Trump and right wingers have been using the California wildfires to spread anti science non sense
Could be they are asking themselves why is California letting water drain into what climate change enthusiast are claiming is rising levels of the oceans due to climate change. Apparently if you listen to the climate enthusiast one could come to the conclusion that the ocean doesn't need anymore water, plenty enough, that if this was the true case which I'll discuss later, there really isn't any reason not to use it instead to keep the state from becoming a tinder box.

You want to know what really sick here is and what playing toxic versions of partisan politics really looks like? When you come on here and tell people that it's disgusting because people are dying because the president doesn't know what he's talking about and the rivers must be allowed to flow naturally as intended into an already "claimed" over abundant ocean due to climate change.
I admit, assuming you had more intelligence than the president, it would be extremely hard for you to come on here and tell people that the people dying in California are dying because of fish, but hey, whatever churns those vile partisan politics right?
That's the truth. The plain matter of fact in this crisis (as portrayed and written here as we are just assuming water from the north could be enough not to create these crisis) is that fish lives matter more than people's. In that regard it does reflect specifically on the presidents claims of environmentalism.
This policy establishes principles and guidelines for maintaining instream flows for the
protection of fishery resources. It does not specify the terms and conditions that will be incorporated into water right permits, licenses, and registrations. It prescribes protective measures regarding the season of diversion, minimum bypass flow, and maximum cumulative diversion. Applicants may choose to implement the policy principles through the regionally protective criteria or site-specific studies. Site-specific studies may be conducted to develop alternative site-specific protective criteria. The policy also limits construction of new onstream dams and contains measures to ensure that approval of new onstream dams does not adversely affect instream flows needed for fishery resources. The policy provides for a watershed-based approach to evaluate the effects of multiple diversions on instream flows within a watershed as an alternative to evaluating water diversion projects on an individual basis. Enforcement requirements contained in this policy include a framework for compliance assurance, prioritization of enforcement cases, and descriptions of enforcement actions. The policy contains guidelines for evaluating whether a proposed water diversion, in combination with existing diversions in a watershed, may affect instream flows needed for the protection of fishery resources.
That's right, people are dying, children are becoming homeless, property burnt to the ground because salmonids lives matter....
This policy focuses on measures that protect native fish populations, with a particular focus on anadromous salmonids1 (e.g., steelhead trout, coho salmon, and chinook salmon) and their habitat.
So you see the water must continue to flow to the ocean not because it's the way they are suppose to flow as a planet but to protect the hatcheries of fish. When, if we take your argument seriously, fish and the environment that protects them is more important than people that's what I'd call a real sick and vile nature when weighted against human lives. You can always import more fish but you can't get your loved one back.
They can always look on the bright side of the equation, they could have one hell of a fish fry. When Bernie, Warren and the rest of the leftist clown car get wind this little truth is out a new slogan can be added to their campaigns, Fish Lives Matter!....unless of course Warren has a recipe in that Pow Wow Cookbook for Chinook.
