Lay all the woes on the big bad wolf of US hegemony and leave globalization, China and the quest for cheap labor out of it. Nations being sold out, up to and including the citizens of the US, the loss of their jobs, livable wages and to add insult to injury the importation of cheap labor into their own countries is what is fueling the fires. We were warned many decades ago about the huge sucking sound of our jobs leaving by the likes Ross Perot, Pat Buchanan and others, now there isn't much left to keep sucking from us so it's all our fault or the fault of any nation that allowed a similar path.

When I hear people spew stuff like that it's pretty obvious that if others had their hands in the cookie jar there was good reason, now they've eaten to many of the cookies their bellies ache and they want to lay the blame on the supplier of the cookies instead of the fact they didn't control their own.

What the US should have done decades ago was listen to the likes of Perot and Buchanan and slammed the lid of the cookie jar on their fingers. That's what Americans want now, the lid slammed shut but it may be way to late for that.
