Yeah I do tend to get on a roll when I am in a hurry...I had a lot planned to do last night posting on three different sites.
I would definitely move away from water in a plastic bottle as studies have confirmed they have plastic residue from the manufacturing process in them. That problem could be solved if the manufacturer rinsed them before filling but that's probably unlikely as it will increase their operation cost. A good home filtration system and those small thermos like containers are probably a better route and more than likely more cost effective. Leaves less waste going to landfills or being burned in waste incinerators as it is questionable in some cases depending upon the emissions controls/screenings a city uses as to how much chemical burn off leaks into the atmosphere. Some cities can afford the best state of the art technologies while others are stuck using outdated technologies.
Like I said I couldn't see what he wrote and my response wasn't really from the same angle as trying to determine why it was being looked at...I am an electrologist, the endocrine system plays a huge role in hair growth so it's part of the studies to be an electrologist. What you see scientist referencing the most when it comes to plastics is the effects it has on the endocrine system particularly the reproductive aspect so it was a bit confusing he choose to use the word thyroid instead of endocrine which may have led to your confusion.
