What he's saying isn't exactly true, he's counting on nobody fact checking him. There's no way you can give everybody in the world one thousand square feet to live in Texas. I would question them wanting ninety percent of everyone dead as who would buy all the products they are going to mass produce with robots? I think he'd be better driving at the fact that corporations don't want to go into these third world countries and pay enough for people to improve their lives outside of being able to shelter and feed themselves is because then these people could build something they could prosper off which would lead them to no longer need the slave wages of the corporations for huge profits.
