The majority of children take from families for neglect reasons are spending whatever money they have on drugs, giving them more money is not going to solve their addiction problem. Lets say they do give these parents the money they give foster parents and the child ends up ill from being malnourished or dies...that opens a whole new can of worms as to whether CPS can be sued for wrongful death as it would be considered similar to handing an alcoholic booze to cure his alcoholism by providing parents with more money to buy drugs.
