On the other hand you do know that for the last year statistics are known over a thousand children lost their lives to abusive/neglectful parents vs eighty five in foster care. No loss is acceptable but it shows there is a need to protect children and it's pretty hard to sell the kidnapping aspect of CPS when they have been overwhelmed with children since the onset of the opioid crisis.
