Today, I'd like to share a story about our busy yet heartwarming family holiday. We started the bright morning with an important mission: taking our daughter to take a scholarship exam at Supharachini School in Trang Province.
The atmosphere in front of the school was bustling and crowded with over 2,000 parents who came to support their children. Despite the traffic congestion, the hearts of the parents were full of hope. We wanted our daughter, who is about to graduate from grade 6, to have a new experience before entering high school next year. After dropping her off, my husband and I returned home to take care of our chores and garden until it was time to pick the children up. Our daughter's answer was, "I'm okay," accompanied by a smile that relieved me as a mother. Our clever nephew, however, seemed a little serious; perhaps he was concentrating too much on the exam.
β¨ Handmade Christmas Card Making Activity
Upon returning home, a new chapter of fun began. The children were tasked with making "Christmas cards" to submit to their teacher. Art supplies spread out all over the floorβvarious colored cardboards, scissors, glue, and a variety of paints.
I watched as the children focused for hours. The lines they drew conveyed imagination and joy. Lush green Christmas trees adorned with decorations and lively gingerbread men appeared. Every brushstroke and every piece of collage reflected the meticulous craftsmanship and the happiness in expressing good wishes through this artwork.

The Significance of Christmas
Christmas, celebrated on December 25th each year, commemorates the birth of Jesus. However, in a universal sense, Christmas is "the festival of giving and sharing." It's a time when families come together, sharing love and joy through gifts and greeting cards, just like the children are diligently making right now.
π A Simple Yet Special Dinner
Before finishing work, I quickly donned my chef hat and made a fast-paced dish: stir-fried pork with basil, using fresh basil from the backyard garden. The aroma filled the house, enticing my little warriors to refuel at the table. I was so happy to serve, offer drinks, and make sure everyone ate their fill before returning to work on the cards, which we finished around 7 PM.
It was a tiring but truly worthwhile day. I got to see both the effort put into studying and the dedication into art.
