Hola amigos de Hive espero tengan excelente semana! El día de hoy les mostraré un recorrido que hice en el Museo de Ciencias Naturales Bernardino Rivadavia.
This museum is located in Buenos Aires, in the neighborhood of Caballito, in Parque Centenario. This is one of the main natural science museums in the country and is one of the most complete in Latin America. It has several areas that are dedicated to geology, malacology, among others. And today I will show you the main room, which is the largest in the museum and is dedicated to paleontology.
Este museo está ubicado en Buenos Aires, en el barrio de Caballito, en el Parque Centenario. Este es uno de los principales museos de ciencias naturales del país y es uno de los más completos de América Latina. Tiene varias áreas que están dedicadas a la geología, malacología, entre otras. Y el día de hoy les mostraré la principal sala que es la más grande del museo y está dedicada a la paleontología.
This room has a large number of fossils and reproductions. Being in this area, I felt like a little girl, it is impossible not to be amazed to see these huge fossils. Everyone has their respective information, to learn a little about this interesting science.
Esta sala tiene una gran cantidad de fósiles y reproducciones. Estando en esta área, me sentía como una niña pequeña, es imposible no asombrarse al ver estos fósiles tan grandes. Todos tienen su respectiva información, para aprender un poco acerca de esta ciencia tan interesante.
I loved seeing a reproduction of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, its name means the king of the tyrant lizards. This is 65 million years old and its origin is from the South of Canada and the West of the United States. This is a reproduction of 12 meters, the truth is quite impressive, I know why it is the "rockstar" of the dinosaur movies haha.😂🤣
Me encantó ver una reproducción de un Tyrannosaurus Rex, su nombre significa el rey de los saurios tiranos. Este tiene una antigüedad de 65 millones de años y su procedencia es del Sur de Canadá y el Oeste de Estados Unidos. Esta es una reproducción de 12 metros, la verdad es bastante impresionante, ya sé por qué es el “rockstar” de las películas de dinosaurios haha.😂🤣
Here were several herbivorous dinosaurs, among them was the Amargasaurus Cazaui, this one draws attention for its spines that are born from its spine and existed 125 million years ago.

Está el más grande encontrado que es el Patagotitan Mayorum, que es ese de cuello muy largo que está detrás de mí en la foto, este vivió hace unos 101 millones de años, fue hallado al sur del país en la provincia de Chabut, en la Patagonia.
Apart from dinosaurs, there were also giant mammals in the country, one of them is the Megatherium and the Lestodon. These were sloths that existed 8 thousand years ago and were found in Buenos Aires.
Aparte de dinosaurios, también existieron mamíferos gigantes en el país, uno de ellos es el Megaterio y el Lestodon. Estos eran perezosos que existieron hace 8mil años y fueron hallados en Buenos Aires.
This is definitely one of the posts that I have enjoyed doing the most, it seems incredible to me that these majestic animals have existed and I felt quite lucky to be able to see their fossils.
Este definitivamente es uno de los post que más he disfrutado hacer, me parece increíble que hayan existido estos majestuosos animales y me sentí bastante afortunada de poder ver sus fósiles.
