I recently was able to pick up this sweeet vintage Oxford Assaying & Refining silver bar at just a couple bucks over spot.
I love me some vintage silver and this one from Alaska is really cool.
Alaska was admitted to the union on January 3, 1959, and this silver bar celebrates the 25th (or silver) anniversary of that day.
These guys are still in business up there in Alaska, here's a brief blurb from their website...
Oxford is proud to be the only Alaska gold refiner, precious metals dealer & coin dealer to maintain two locations for more than 40 years. We offer maximum returns on gold and silver, whether you are a miner or an investor. Buying, selling, or trading – Oxford provides the service, value, honesty, and integrity that Alaskans have counted on for generations.
Into the stack it goes, when will we see it again, nobody knows :D
