Blackened silver (also known as antiqued) is the look that silver takes on as it oxidizes. I love the look of a blackened piece of silver. The process of oxidation can take a while so there is a product called liver of sulfur that help speed the process and this is what silversmiths use to blacken silver.

Well, being that I have absolutely no experience with this I thought I'd give it a try! 😂😂👍

Well, I certainly have some things to learn here but I like the way it came out.
