Community. We see this word bandied about often here on Steemit, and in the crypto world in general. It's become a buzzword of sorts, so let's look at the word, and its meaning, little closer.

Looks like that second definition sums up #SteemSilverGold & @ssg-community quite well. But it's not the whole story as I see it. However, the key word there for me seems to get lost amongst the others in that definition. At least it took me a minute to really see it in there. I'm talking about sharing, to me this is key, and it's the action of community.

A feeling of fellowship...common attitudes, interests, and goals, yes, yes, yes & yes. But for a community to grow, and THRIVE, action, that is, sharing is essential. Whether it's the sharing of our thoughts through ideas, opinions, critiques and the like, or sharing physical, concrete things such as food, money, and hugs, it is this sharing that is the glue of any true community. And it is something I experienced this week in the SteemSilverGold community.

And now, the magic moment. Maybe not monumental in the scheme of things, but the little things added up, mean as much as the big ones. So I'll try to get to the point as I'm sure many of you have had a similar SteemSilverGold community experiences.

It starts with this post from @thedamus. I'm reading through, learning stuff (Canadian dimes use to have fish on them?!?) and then I see it, about halfway down...

There it is Y'all, another community action that defines SteemSilverGold.
