Let's take a look at another copper round this morning.
I got this one last year. In fact, I got a couple of them because I love it! I believe they minted a silver version as well and looking at it now I think I should have grabbed a silver one too.
Copper is one of the few native metals, a metal that can occur in nature in a directly usable metallic form.
The reverse of this round is funny as well, with lots of detail.
I like the broken candy canes on the sides xD
Copper price goes up and down. Sometimes it's up, sometimes it's down.
The price has also 10x since the 1960s
Anyhow, I don't buy these as an investment, I just enjoy coins and these 1oz rounds are usually under $2 so I like to toss a couple in my order when I order that sweet sweet silver 😋
