In this world when you think about internet then the first thing which comes into our mind is we can鈥檛 live without it. But think about if government restricts you to use internet then, don鈥檛 panic it鈥檚 just an thought.
Today I am talking about freedom of internet in my country India 馃嚠馃嚦. Which is all possible with the efforts of 
Restricted & unrestricted internet in India 馃嚠馃嚦
When you talk about India then you know that it is placed 2nd rank in population with 1.3 billion people鈥檚 in India. When you know India has so much population then you probably think what is the condition of internet in India.
So in terms of uses it鈥檚 placed on rank two but not in terms of percentage of people.

In terms of population using internet in India then it鈥檚 only 41% which is near about half billion people using the internet in India. But it鈥檚 to less in compare to other countries With more than 90% population using internet countries.
So there are some things which is restricting people to use internet but it鈥檚 not government yes it鈥檚 the price tag with the smartphones and data package of telecom operators. high number of population in India is not able to buy an smartphone or any other device which is compatible with internet so that鈥檚 why the % of people using internet in India is less.
But it doesn鈥檛 mean that there is full freedom to use internet in India. According to study India is partially free in terms of freedom internet. It means not full freedom not fully controlled like China is fully control there internet, and also not like America which gives full freedom to internet.

Talking about restriction on internet in India there are few things which are completely banned in India one of them is porn sites are banned in India however uses doesn鈥檛 show that porn is banned in India because high number of population is using vpn or offline video sharing.
But this ban is related to culture of India because Indian community members thinks that porn is toxic for children鈥檚. But from this it鈥檚 not good for freedom of internet. In my opinion this ban is good for children鈥檚 because when they will grow up then they will know how to go to that sites but in there little age it鈥檚 not good.
In India not only some content based things are banned but time by time there are some states or areas of India鈥檚 faces the restrictions towards internet like this time when I am writing this blog there are total shut down regarding internet in Kashmir because of recent legal terms of change by Indian government so here the total thing is going in control of government. There is no update when this gonna be removed. And this is important to know that Kashmir is very sensitive area form long time because of Pakistan so, when there are some action taken by Indian government to change its legal status then there are chances that people may damage things and internet can work here as an catalyst so this action is needed to control the things.
But again this is against to freedom of internet to people.
That鈥檚 why India is listed as partially free in terms of freedom towards internet.
Apart from all these things India is impressively improving its number and every charts are showing this. The data is becoming cheaper and cheaper smart phone manufacturers are targeting Indian market so I have strong believe that the numbers are going to be change.
There are restricted things also in India which preserves our social values.
