Sometimes you have to look at life from a different perspective.

My family and I went to the park today. As my wife and kiddos hung out with other moms and children, I tried to find a quiet place to hang my hammock. As I was looking up, I saw the leafless tree towering over me and the glistening of afternoon sun rays. It was a beautiful sight and a reminder that sometimes in life we need to take a new look at life from another perspective.

Sometimes I am so focused on only the things three feet in front of me that I neglect the peripheral and what’s above. There is a whole world to explore if we would just engage it. But the blinders of our daily lives often rob us of these joys.
