I don't see the constitution as something that killed the Declaration of Independence, and Ben Franklin said it best when he said something to the effect that ,"we have a republic if you can keep it."
Slowly but surely the government has chipped away at our rights and freedoms and the people haven't put up a fight. If people aren't willing to defend what is theirs that is on the people in my opinion.
No doubt that corporations being given "person" status in the eyes of the courts changed things quite a bit and was a major blow to the people. Part of the deception was that all living people where transformed into corporations through their names being written in all upper case letters on government documents. Our "little corporations " don't stand a chance in the world of big government business.
The devil is in the details and if people would read the founding documents of this country and understand what those actually say instead of relying on school teachers, news media, and the government officials for their interpretation we would be a whole lot better off.
So much damage and brain washing has taken place since 1776 I honestly don't know if this country can be saved, but I will do my part to try and save it.
Thanks for read and comment,
