Hopefully in the not to distant future I will be experiencing some of that dry heat myself. The wife and are looking right now at some property down in the desert of southwest Texas to purchase. Elevation is about 3,000 feet and has the Big Bend National park just to the east of it with all of it's 800,000 + acres and the Big Bend State park sits just to the west of it with all 275,000 acres it has to offer.
This hurricane season might very well be our last one but we are making plans to leave this area sooner rather than later. There could very well be a Guzbuck ranch in the southwest soon.
