I could see that this contest, (and probably most contests), are important to the people in Venezuela. They responded big time in entries. HIVE represents that glimmer of hope for those people for sure. Overall , this was a very successful contest for me. I went over budget as usual, but I gained an extra 50 HIVE on Thursday evening that I decided to put to good use when I noticed the VZ pattern develop.
I was a little surprised that some foreign entrants didn't have traditions of trades or work that their families have done for generations. I was expecting some, sort of like the Amish with woodworking, or buggy making and leather work. Of course though, I did say "favorite " tradition so that probably nixed that work tradition.
