Stores and bags. There is subject of great controversy and not just because of COVID. Several cities banned the use of using the thin cheap plastic bags that stores place groceries or any items in for that matter. Trying to force people to use reusable grocery sacks, the cases of salmonella skyrocketed in the next year in those towns.
The fresh meat and chicken in those bags and the people not washing the bags after each use caused massive outbreaks. Lots of very sick people and it took quite awhile for the city officials to figure out the source of the outbreak. The cities were concentrating on where and what the people were eating rather than looking at how the food was transported.
Some stores here don't allow backpacks simply because of the theft issues, a person can make off with quite a bit of stuff in a backpack.
