You are so correct in your statement, "You can't change something if you don't understand it in the first place." and that is exactly what they are counting on.
You aren't alone in feeling a bit disconnected this 4th of July, we just received an "emergency order" on our cellphones letting us know that anyone caught outside without a face mask is subject to a $250 fine, regardless of where you are. The order was issued by the governor and the message ends with, "This Independence Day we are depending on you to help end the spread of this deadly virus."
I guess in Texas this is the reality ; "Independence Day... life , liberty, and the pursuit of mask less faces." it should have read.
