I wouldn't even have a problem with our "government" if they would just tell people the damn truth. The lies and deception are a bigger problem for me than paying taxes or getting a driver license.

The fact that the people in charge have been able to pull the wool over the people eyes in excess of 140 years is mind boggling to say the least. I could see it happening easily for the first 100 years or so but with the access to so much information that has been around since the internet back in the early '90's it makes no sense why people are so uninformed as to the truth.

Even scary than that... the people might know the truth but are so apathetic or down right scared they are afraid to speak out. Which should be a clear sign to them that they have no freedom and are essentially slaves to the government.
