That is really sickening for sure. Like that man posed a "real threat" to them? Looked to me like assault with a deadly weapon, assault with intent to commit bodily injury, and I'm sure there other charges that could apply too.

Except for the fact the police have "qualified immunity" the old man would have a great civil suit against that cop. The exact type of double standard I'm talking or about to soon write a Dash about.
