Folks in the north are some gluttons for punishment it seems when it comes to weather. When it gets below 60 here I'm cold and need a light jacket.
I think the coldest I ever was was when I flew up to Iowa in the winter to watch my brothers basketball team play in their state tournament. I was there for four days and the temperature never got above '0' as in zero degrees. I was never so glad to get on plane and go home in my life and I swear I won't go north of Dallas now in the winter time. I am not a cold weather person.
That is a real shame your sequel will have to be rewritten, but it has to be a good feelin' that you were spot on with your "fiction". Let us know when you get around to finishing it.
