My grasp and understanding of language in all honesty is really poor. I screw up a lot with verbs, adverbs, adjective and such but I have focused in on learning the meanings of the words. To me, that is the key to understanding in law or in the simulated legal process we think is "law".
It is real important where a person gets those definitions as well, because regular dictionaries change the meanings of words quite frequently based on the usage in everyday life. One example is the word, "suffer", right now there are plenty of people "suffering" from COV19 and I agree they are. But I base my agreement on the legal definition of "suffer", not on the fact that just have the virus.
Now, I know your curious mind is going to go look that up.
