Well I am glad to see that you have the tea towel for a reminder, and the cake and breads look delicious. I can put on few pounds just looking at them.
I 'd like to remind you, in case you need to use it, "guzbucking" ... for use in describing 'that dreaded word which I refuse to use', it (guzbucking) is the perfect adjective given the situation we find ourselves involved with these days.

One other word to use with your son and his rules to abide by is "shall" as in 'I shall do as you wish...'

Most people, him probably included, would take that reply as you would conform to his wishes but "shall" is a future tense word... so you can do it anytime in the future for him, at your leisure, (without guilt I might add) and still go to the places he's ruled out for you.

Words mean things... like I've written before... and in law every code says "you shall" stop at a stop sign etc. ... it never says "must" because the government knows (at least here in the USA) they don't have jurisdiction over "man" they do over citizens and persons but not over man.

So you have a way out... feel free to use that as well.
