I was sure glad she was at the poker table so I could mention my post to her. I didn't know she was a retired postmaster so that was nice to find out and she could quickly set the story straight.

In all my travels across the south part of Texas I go through several small towns with post offices right on the main roads and never once can remember seeing any flag on the flag pole with the American flag so that was alarming to me.

Like I told her in my comment to her, I've been going there for a long time and had never seen it before. A hell of time for them postal folks to start following the rules (lol).
