One way to stop this overbearing government is with jury nullification. More people need to become fully informed about what power the jury has; which is to try both the law and the evidence in the case.
The sad reality is that most people will do anything they can to get out of serving on a jury when in fact it is the place where a person's vote can actually make a difference.
Courts today are nothing more than a "cash cow" for the government enforcing codes and statutes and fining those who break these. I did a little study on a court near me that generates over $12 million a year in traffic fines & court costs. Gives a whole new meaning to the term "highway robbery".
I commend Mr. Wood for doing his part to make people wiser and thank you for bringing attention to him.
Until next time,
Sult
