The mosque is located in Gampong Beureuleung village, Grong-grong sub-district.

This wooden construction mosque was built on 12 Safar 1385 Hijri by the local community.

This mosque was once roofed rumbia and without any spikes in all parts of this mosque. The mosque's pole is used only for wooden blocks to hold its walls, and where the roof holder is tied with a rope to hold the rumbinya leaves, it is now replaced with zinc.

Inside the mosque there is a Bamboo Staircase (Trieng purieh) that has existed since the first built in this mosque and until now still intact and still be used.

In front of the mosque we can see there is a pool where once pool used for ablution, and now usually used by children to bathe there.
