This lady's vocal capacity sure lifts metal to another level.
I don't want to know what happened to you here (I groan in sympathy and can easily guess how it more or less went). I only realised after your reply to me that you took a little fall....
And so it goes here like it goes outside (literally in my case: I've been kept busy for 6 bloody months without any result with ridiculous petty garden fence wars that put my reputation far into the minus!) It's all unreal and nobody knows it. Fighting to keep the peace.
Here you are, just another joe in this jumble sale of a life, being a conscious and caring, courteous, original and authentic individual trying to aid interconnectivity, bringing new people together, inspiring with fresh sounds (especially in your music promotion work) - of course you are going to have to be assertive at times - and look where it gets you; well precisely where they all want to be: nowhere fast. And fortunately for you that's just (one of) your persona(s) tossed about in their maelstrom and your real self is still on dry land.
Happy to hear you are going on a summer project. As always drive safely! Maybe this one will hit the box office big time! Do we even really want that?.... Just have fun. It's all curtains before we know it, anyway...
No, I'm not down in the dumps. Far from it. Life's never been tougher, but neither have I. The tough bit being: you've seen it all before, and know what's coming years in advance. So it can get a bit boring. This may be reflected in the pieces I intend to write if I write at all. A bit Leonora Carrington and Vario Remedios inspired perhaps: to allow myself the privilige to go a little nutty or actually quite cryptic (it's only poetry).
I have been boosted by a quainte history of art critic, YouTuber Antonio Garcia Villarán (a little on the metal side, not a great artist himself, but he has a great eye, and tolerates no media hype, which means he tears down the Hirsts and Yoko Onos but even Picasso, Dali and my friend Miró. Hamparte he calls it all.)
After four videos -finally- I realised he was speaking in Spanish, which much delighted me. It had felt like a mother tongue. (Ok. I exaggerate here where you would not have to). I am now taking it as a sign that it is realistic to nurture my interest in a return to Spain...
