Quiet Strength in the Water’s Mirror
Hello to my fellow photographers and nature lovers on Hive!
During an afternoon stroll, these two sturdy tree trunks standing gracefully in a pool of clear rainwater caught my eye. The way the surrounding green foliage and nearby buildings reflected off the surface created a tranquil, almost surreal perspective of our everyday urban landscape.
Taking a closer look at the scene, I loved how the rough, dark bark of the trunks contrasted with the soft, glass-like reflection below. In busy cities, rainy weather often leaves behind these temporary mirrors, turning ordinary grassy spots into quiet moments of natural art if we take a second to stop and look.

I framed the shot directly between the two trunks to highlight the symmetry and the subtle reflections captured in the water. Mobile photography continues to show me that remarkable compositions don't require grand landscapes—just an open mind to see the beauty in unexpected places.
Have you stumbled upon any peaceful reflections or unique urban views during your rainy day walks? I would love to see your thoughts and photos in the comments!
