Recently, I have seen more and more often that people use bidding bots quite inefficiently.
So today I decided to write this article for those who are not fully aware of this type of bidding bots vote and for all those who already use them but do not consider their profit.
There are a lot of bidding bots but these are the more famous ones:
Simply send the amount you want to join this round of the desired bidding bot and copy the address of your post into the memo field
Example:
Thanks to the @msg768 this is very easy. Open the following link in the browser - https://rawgit.com/msg768/mysteemit/master/bidder.html
Type the bidding bot name in the first input field and press - START. Enter the amount you want to bid in the second field and click on - CALCULATE
You will see something like this:
Check the post from @msg768 with detailed explanation - https://steemit.com/steemit/@msg768/new-steem-tool-analyze-dr-otto-s-bids-and-place-the-smartest-bid
In this case bid with 0.1$ will return upvote for 0.07$
In this bidding round bid with 1$ return 0.84$ upvote
Obviously, when the amount of upvote is greater than you spend, you are in profit. Also, your post gets weight and can be seen by more people.
Here's a link to a helpful article with a detailed explanation, thanks to @inertia - https://steemit.com/curation/@inertia/benefits-of-pay-for-votes
In some cases, it is profitable to use bidding bots in someone is not, please use the calculator and judge for yourself.
Pro tip: Submit your post 10-20 minutes before ending a bidding round to climb up the hot category and catch some other upvotes.
