With the release of the new soulbound reward cards, there were lots of new cards that made the game exciting again. It made a huge impact on me and I found myself once again looking forward to my next daily reward chests and end of seasons. And as an avid life splinter player, I was looking for the next card to add to my collection.
One card in particular that I really liked is the Imperial Knight. The artwork and card stats for it is simply amazing. I also plan to make a share your battle article with it as well when I have enough BCX for it. But for now, let's try to have a go with an AI alternate artwork.
With the introduction of Chaos Legion, Splinterlands has released a lot of humanoid animal characters to the game. And so far, this one is my favorite among them. So according to the lore, these Imperial Knights belong the race of royal leonines and they are part of the Silver Shield faction. Many medieval houses use lions as a symbol of their lineage because it represents courage and strength. And you probably can't go any more courageous than a lion knight. So let's have a go at it.
I think describing this image to the AI will be easy and straighforward. Lion, knight, and sword would be a good combination to try.
I must say, I'm impressed with having a great artwork on my first try. I usually get abominations on the initial output. I also like how the AI went for a handpainted syle design. If I have to nitpick, it will be that the armor is too dark and I would have liked a more shinier one. There also appears to be two tails. But overall, it's a good outcome.
So I tried to emphasize a shiny armor. What the AI gave me was another badass artwork but this time, it's a little too futuristic and I don't think it would fit with the whole lore of Splinterlands. But it sure do looks like a character from a MOBA game.

And since I'm now leaning more towards the first artwork as the final one to use, I decided to try one more time with the keyword "legendary." I'm impressed with this one too. The AI created a whole new fictional species. It's half humanoid lion and half regular lion. I'm also not sure why the AI leaned towards handpainted artwork for all three attempts. I would have loved to see a more digital art design.
And here's the side-by-side comparison of the original and reimagined artwork of Imperial Knight, Although I would have preferred its armor to be a little more shinier or more pronounced, I'm still very satisfied with what the AI has done with this.
