WORKERBEE is the miner token that produces BEE.

WORKERBEE is the governance token for Hive-Engine. Also known as a miner token & like all mining tokens on the blockchain, they work on a lottery system so there's no guaranteed numbers. There are 10 bee mined every hr. from all staked workerbee, that's 240 BEE per day. That doesn't sound like much but it's all dependent upon the amount you have staked.You won't get rich from it but if you keep stacking it you will eventually see the snowball effect happen.
One of my mentors hold 6000 WORKERBEE and gets 10-15 BEE each day.
Once you have them staked, watch your liquid BEE, that's what you earned from your WORKERBEE.
If you hold & stake WORKERBEE you get to vote for witnesses to be a part of the government. The witnessess are the ones who produces blocks and when you vote for them, you're voting them into government. Witnesses also vote on proposed changes to the chain of soft/hard forks.
"So these blockchains are on a proof of stake mechanism, which means to ‘prove’ things, transactions etc. There needs to be stake. On hive the Hive you have staked is Hive Power, which ‘proves’ you are invested so you can vote for witnesses, get higher curation and give out more rewards. On hive engine, workerbee is the equivalent to hive power, it allows you to vote for witnesses"
