On the positive side, every day that God wakes us up is always a better day! However, I hear you when you say 'let's be real'.

Thinking back to my MOM, she was on a ventilator and every move she made was a big deal to us. The docs would say that it was involuntary spasms but we were like 'whatever'. In reality, I knew deep in my heart that this was the end but I continue to have hope until it really was the end. Realism always wins.
